This year’s Gathering marks our fifth birthday as a full time enterprise and the second anniversary the Lasting Difference’s launch. We’ve made lots of progress, not least with 3500+ copies of the toolkit being used and supported by charities, membership organisations and funders of every kind.

Of course, most non-profit organisations still grapple with significant sustainability challenges every day. That’s why we do what we do, and why we always return to the Gathering with a free workshop on the subject.

This year’s one-off event will showcase real life examples and  research about how people are using the tools to sustain their work and impact. Participants will also be the very first people to see and test our exciting new ‘implementation guide’, designed to help you lead your organisation, project or team through sustainability challenges, whatever your role.

It sounds a bit strange to say, but I’m delighted to be able to actually advertise the workshop this year! For the last two years, the 100-seater venue sold out before I even had time to publicise the event! So this year we’ve allowed for 200 free places. Admittedly, over 50 people booked in the first few days of bookings going live, but as long as you respond soon, you too should be able to join us. But a sell-out is just about guaranteed so don’t hang about. Full details and booking information here: https://thegathering.scot/events/the-lasting-difference-leadership-for-sustainability/
