Understanding system capacity Nov 2021

Our next practice sharing session for Lasting Difference partners and symbol holders will take place online on 3rd November. The theme will be system capacity, something several of our recent research respondents suggested we should explore together.

We’ve worked with lots of sector intermediaries and membership organisations using a range of capacity-building approaches in different parts of the sector, so this is a special opportunity to share learning and practice.

As usual, we’ll have good provocations if not all answers (yet)! However, the Lasting Difference Guide to Managing Capacity is a good start, and there will be some early learning to share from an event we’re facilitating with Shelter for their housing sector partners on 18th October. System capacity is a growing concern for housing services, one of the many areas of society where demand is increasing despite collective efforts, investment and prevention.

Join us in exploring these and other questions:

  • What does system capacity look like?
  • Who is served by the services we all provide?
  • What could be achieved with new approaches to communication and collaboration?

Reserve your free place via Eventbrite.
